Your first visit
Here's what to expect.
Coming to a new clinic for the first time can feel uncertain. This page walks you through exactly what happens — from booking to leaving — so you know what to expect before you arrive.
Book an appointment
Choose a time that suits you through our online booking system. If you're unsure which appointment type to select, book a general consultation and Emilie will help you from there. You can also call or send an enquiry if you'd prefer to talk first.
Your consultation
Every appointment begins with a consultation. Emilie will take a thorough health history, ask about your concerns and goals, and assess your skin or health as relevant. This is your opportunity to ask questions and understand your options clearly.
There is no obligation to proceed with any treatment at this stage.
Your options, explained clearly
Emilie will explain what she found in the assessment and discuss any treatment or care options that may be relevant to you. She'll tell you what's likely to help, what probably won't, and what the process would involve — including any preparation, aftercare or follow-up.
You decide
You're welcome to proceed with treatment on the day if you'd like to and it's appropriate to do so, or to take time to think and come back later. There is no pressure to make a decision during your appointment.
What to bring
- A list of any current medications and supplements
- Any relevant medical history you think Emilie should know about
- Your Medicare card if you have one
- Any skincare products you're currently using, if your appointment is skin-related
If you're not sure what to bring, don't worry — Emilie will ask the questions she needs to during your consultation.
Good to know
Appointments run to time
Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment. If you're running late, give us a call so we can let you know if the appointment can still go ahead.
Consultations are private
Your appointment is confidential. You're welcome to bring a support person if you'd like to.
No question is too small
Emilie is used to people coming in with lots of questions — or no idea where to start. Either is completely fine.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so as early as possible so the appointment can be offered to someone else. You can manage your booking through the online booking system or by calling the clinic.
Ready when you are.
Book online at a time that suits you, or send an enquiry if you'd like to ask something first.
